E49 Learning to Accept Your Identity with Vera Cheng
Episode Notes
On this week's episode of the Resolvve podcast, Noah speaks with Vera Cheng (she/her), a registered social worker, psychotherapist, consultant, media expert and founder of Talk Therapy with Vera.
Vera identifies as a 1.5-generation Chinese Canadian and has openly shared the obstacles she has overcome in life that allowed her to accept and challenge herself. These experiences have allowed her to cultivate herself as a therapist and support individuals who have had similar challenges. Vera has over 15 years of clinical experience working in community and medical settings with a diverse population ranging from teens to seniors. She collaborates and empathizes with individuals to help bolster their self-awareness to make positive and goal-directed changes in their life. It enables them to feel empowered, recognizes their strengths, and establishes a greater sense of self-compassion.
